A live map of the places around you. Check in where you are, see what your city is talking about, and join the conversation.
“We built Random for the city you walk through every day and never really explore. The places, the people, the small things going on around you. Just a reason to step out and say hi.”

Feed
One card per person: their orb, their thought, their trust score, and what you two have in common. Slide the bar to send a request.
A thought is one line, or a poll where your thought is the question. You choose how long it stays up, and anyone can reply with a tap on your name. The reply is already a conversation.
The 30 most relevant places within 300 metres, live: cafés and bars, but also parks, stations, schools, the city hall and museums. Everyone checked in gets an orb next to the pin.
Chat
Every conversation starts with plain text. The longer you talk, the more it unlocks. Pick an orb and watch one unfold.

Journal
After 200 messages with someone, your Journal opens for them. Photos and short videos they can see for a day, and you keep, day by day.
Unlocks at 200 messagesShare photos and short videos with your closest people only. When they react, it lands in your chat.
Everything you post stays in your own calendar. Open a day and live it again.
Star the moments you want to keep closest. They fall into a pit of bubbles you can toss around.
Post once a day and your streak grows. The flame gets a little bigger every day, up to seven.
Profile
Thoughts, a trust score and controls that keep you safe. Nothing to perform.
Share a line, a question or a poll. No follower counts or curated feeds. Your profile is about your interests and the places you love.
Your Trust Score is built through real interactions with other people, giving others a better signal of who they are talking to.
We built tools so you share only what feels comfortable, and tools that protect you, so Random stays a safe place to discover and connect with the world around you.
Send a request with one line. Nothing starts until the other person accepts.
Live places, check-ins and crowns on one map. Every account is verified by phone or email.
You start in Ghost Mode and only appear on the map when you check in. Every report is read by a person.
